The camera's sensor is a hybrid CMOS AF II, which uses phase detection pixels to assist with autofocus when using Live View or shooting video. Autofocus points cover approximately 80% of the sensor, which should make for more accurate focusing across the frame. The SL1 / 100D is also supported by a range of creative filter effects, such as Grainy B/W and Soft Focus, so can see how these effects will be rendered on the screen (when shooting in Live View) beffore th shot is taken. There's also Dual Shot Mode, which records one image with the filter.
The EOS 600D / Rebel SL1 has a 3-Inch Clear View and 1040k dots touchscreen and other features include 4fps shooting, a 1080p Full HD movie recording and Intelligent Auto. The Rebel SL1 retains the standard EF-S lens mount, making it compatible with Canon's extensive range of optics. The 100D offer a native ISO range of ISO100-12800. Images taken at ISO100 to 800 are clear of noise ISO3200 ISO6400 ISO12800 with sharp detail and colour, and even at ISO3200 and 6400 it’s only when dark areas of images are viewed at 100% that you’ll really notice chroma noise and grain. At the top unexpanded ISO12800 setting, images were still usable.
